Responsible Gaming

You might be here because gambling feels like it is taking more than it gives, or because you want to keep it in proportion before it ever does. This page offers practical advice and an honest account of what this site can and cannot do for you.

Limits

This site cannot help you stop. It has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch on a control, check one or enforce one. Deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion belong to an operator account. If you want any of them, you arrange them yourself inside your account at the destination where you actually play.

Nobody's age is verified on this site, and no gambling takes place on it. Any check of that kind happens at the destination. No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing you see here is targeted at you because of how you have behaved, whether risky or not. This site does not use cookies or keep a persistent identifier, so it has no record of you to act on.

Habits

Each of these suggestions has a practical reason behind it:

  • Decide the amount before you start. A figure set in advance comes from your calmer judgement. A figure decided mid-session comes from whatever the last result was.
  • Treat that money as already spent. If you think of it as the price of an evening's entertainment, you will not feel you are owed it back. That feeling is what keeps people playing past their plan.
  • Never chase a loss. Each bet is independent of the one before it, so staking more to recover money only increases how much you can lose. Losses tend to grow fastest in the minutes after a bad run.
  • Keep gambling away from borrowed money. Credit, loans or money set aside for bills turn a lost stake into a debt that outlasts the session. They also make the next decision feel more urgent.
  • Take breaks. Time passes quickly during play. Stepping away lets you see the total clearly and decide whether you still want to continue.
  • Involve someone else early. Once gambling stops being entertainment, it is easy to hide it, even from yourself. Telling a person you trust makes the situation real while it is still small.

Help

Every page of this site, this one included, carries links to six independent gambling-help organisations: BeGambleAware, Gamble Aware, Gambling Therapy, G GamCare Gambling Support: Starts Here, GAM STOP and NCPG. Each one is an independent source of help.

These are the only outbound links on the whole site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking. They are set to nofollow and open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when you follow them. Once you arrive, that organisation's site keeps its own record of your visit, and this site does not control its practices.

Age

The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page. If you are under eighteen, gambling is not for you. Because no age check happens here, that restriction depends on you respecting it. Any verification takes place at the destination.
